Create scripts with Power Platform CLI

On the Microsoft Power Platform developer blog, Daniel Laskewitz wrote that the Power Platform command line interface (CLI) is a powerful tool for managing your Power Platform environment that allows you to create Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) components , perform administrative tasks, and more.

He noted that while you can execute commands individually, scripting offers a more efficient way to combine multiple actions. As an administrator tasked with provisioning developer environments, you can significantly streamline the process using Power Platform CLI scripting.

Laskewitz wrote that by automating tasks, such as environment creation, enabling PCF controls, establishing administrative groups, and importing essential solutions, you ensure developers have a ready-to-use environment. He added that this saves time and also ensures consistency across all developer setups.

Laskewitz then explained how to create and use Power Platform CLI scripts.
